The honors keep on rolling in for Colin Feikles after his incredible week at the plate. Today, Feikles became the school's first-ever national player of the week when the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association chose him as the NCAA Division III Player of the Week.
Earlier this week, Feikles was selected as the ECAC Player of the Week, AMCC Player of the Week and to D3Baseball.com's Team of the Week.
Feikles smacked 2 home runs and hit .750 (12-for-16) in 4 conference wins. In a doubleheader sweep of PS-Altoona, the junior tallied 7 runs, 2 doubles, 1 homer, and 10 RBI. Feikles followed this with another stellar performance, this time against Hilbert. In another doubleheader sweep, Fiekles talied 3 runs, 3 doubles, 1 homer, and 4 RBI.
On the week, the second-baseman had 10 runs on 12 hits, 5 doubles, 2 homers, and 14 RBI. He carried a .778 on-base percentage and 1.438 slugging percentage.
