WEST SENECA, NY – The La Roche Baseball team clinched their second straight AMCC Regular Season title and their fourth-ever after sweeping Hilbert College 15-0, 18-5 on Saturday afternoon. The Redhawks will host the AMCC Conference Tournament the weekend of May 8th.

La Roche hit seven home runs on the day including three by John Watson. Watson now has ten career home runs.

Luis Navedo moved into a tie for fourth place on the all-time list with his seventh career home run. Corey Podvasnik, Colin Feikles and Brian Tougher each hit their sixth career homers.

Two seniors picked up the victories for La Roche. Tyler Ferguson took the mound in Game 1 and he scattered just two hits over five innings. He struck out 8 and won his school record 28th career game. Jesse Grundza did not allow an earned run in six innings of work.
