The Redhawk offense started early in the first when David Lemley launched his 8th homerun of the season over the left field wall to score Jon Spina and make the score 2-0.
Heidelberg responded with four runs of their own in the home half. After the first inning the starter, Ethan Lewis, settled down tossing three scoreless and finishing his day with 4 innings allowing 5 runs (3 earned) on 8 hits while fanning three. Cole Cogley tossed a scoreless fifth getting out of a second and third jam. Garron Telesz earned his third win of the season by tossing 2 scoreless frames. Tre Thomas and Shane Emrich tossed a scoreless inning a piece as well.
La Roche waited all the way until the seventh to score again while scoring two in that inning and then added five more in the eighth. Lemley singled to bring in Navedo and then a Corey Lazor single would bring around Lemley to knot the game up at 5.
The Redhawks loaded the bases up and Ian Velez was able to draw a walk, and then Luis Navedo broke it open with a bases cleaning double. A Joe Professori sacrifice fly would round the out the scoring at 10-5.
Spina was 3-5 on the day and was able to bring in a run while scoring two himself. Lemley had 2 hits and 3 RBI, along with Navedo's 3 RBI day. Lazor also had 2 hits and an RBI.
