Baseball Ranked Thirtieth in Collegiate Baseball News Preseason Poll

The La Roche Baseball team is ranked thirtieth in the nation in the Collegiate Baseball News 2018 Preseason Poll. The Redhawks were ranked sixteenth in last year's postseason poll.

La Roche has consistently ranked among the nation's top teams over the past several years. They have won four straight AMCC Championships and appeared in the past four NCAA Tournaments. In 2015, the Redhawks won the NCAA Mideast Regional and advanced to the College World Series, tying for third overall. In 2014, they placed second in the NCAA Mideast Regional.

The Redhawks were ranked in the top 25 for a majority of the 2016 season and awarded the third seed in the NCAA Mideast Regional. Their offense was one of the best in the country. They led the nation in slugging percentage, ranked second in doubles, third in triples, third in batting average, and sixth in runs.

La Roche returns five AMCC All-Conference players including 2017 AMCC Pitcher of the Year Nick Tunstall.
