PITTSBURGH, PA – Three Redhawks scored in double-figures as La Roche Men's Basketball (2-0) cruised to a 75-54 win over Waynesburg (1-2) in an AMCC vs. PAC matchup. La Roche's twenty-one point win is its largest since a 72-50 win over D'Youville on January 8 of last season.
Andre Flanigan led all scorers with 18 points and Mike Dixon and Daron Tabron added 16 and 15 points apiece. Dixon paced the Redhawks with seven assists and Flanigan registered a season-high five steals.
La Roche held the visiting Yellow Jackets to 32% shooting (16 of 49) and caused 18 turnovers. The Redhawks out-rebounded Waynesburg 35-25 and grabbed fifteen offensive rebounds.
The Redhawks will host St. Vincent College in a non-conference game on Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00PM. Last season, La Roche beat the Bearcats by six points.
