PITTSBURGH, PA – Mike Dixon and Joel McIntosh combined for thirty-four points but La Roche Men's Basketball (3-1) fell to Saint Vincent College (2-0) 71-66 in a non-conference game at the Kerr Fitness Center. The loss is the Redhawks first at home since November 19, 2010.

La Roche trailed by fifteen points and as many as seven points with 1:15 minutes left before storming back. The Redhawks used a deep three-pointer by McIntosh and a layup by Dixon to get within two before the visiting Bearcats hit three foul shots to end it.

Dixon and McIntosh led the Redhawks with 17 points apiece and David Jackson recorded his first double-double of the season (10 points, 10 rebounds).

The Redhawks shot 52% from the field in the second half after shooting a season-low 30% in the first half. La Roche also made 4 of 6 three pointers in the second half.

La Roche will travel to Geneva College on Saturday, November 26 to take on the Golden Tornadoes. Last season the Redhawks downed Geneva 83-78.
