Redhawks Shoot a Season-High 55% in 84-69 Win Over Geneva

BEAVER FALLS, PA – Andre Flanigan recorded his first career double-double and the Redhawks shot a season high 55% as La Roche Men's Basketball (3-1) beat Geneva College (1-4) 84-69 in a non-conference game at Metheny Field House.

After playing a closely contested first half, the Redhawks went on a 15-4 second half run to break things open. Flanigan capped the run with a momentum changing dunk.

Flanigan led La Roche with 17 points, 11 assists, 7 steals, and 6 rebounds. Marcus Martin registered a career-high 16 points and Derek Barber-Richards added 14 points. Joel McIntosh had 10 points and Mike Dixon had 9 points in the win.

Zach Rorick scored a game-high 22 points for Geneva.

The Redhawks will open AMCC Conference play on Wednesday when they host Mt. Aloysius College. Last season La Roche swept the Mounties in the home and home series.
