Redhawks Drop Conference Game at Mt. Aloysius

CRESSON, PA – The Redhawks dropped a Wednesday night conference game at Mt. Aloysius College 81-74.

"We just didn't make enough tough plays down the stretch", said Coach Carmichael. "All we can do is get back in the gym and try to get better tomorrow."

Four Redhawks reached double-figures including Andy Abreu who recorded his first double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Arnez Bajgora finished with 14 points and 7 rebounds while Torin Smith and Ryan Frantz contributed 11 points each.

La Roche had a terrific night on the boards outrebounding the Mounties 45-30 and 21-8 on the offensive glass. The Redhawks shot a solid 40% (26 of 65) from the floor but Mt. Aloysius hit 50% of their shots and went 10 for 20 from beyond the arc.

On Saturday, the men's basketball team will travel north to Buffalo where they will take on D'Youville College. The Redhawks took two from D'Youville last year including a 78-73 win in Buffalo where Zaire Redding had 13 points and 12 rebounds.
