PITTSBURGH, PA – Pitt-Bradford handed La Roche a 71-59 loss in their final home game of the season.
Arnes Bajgora scored 11 first half points as the Redhawks entered intermission trailing 30-23. Pitt-Bradford shot a solid 53% from the floor but La Roche controlled the boards to keep it close.
The Panthers jumped out to a fifteen point lead early into the second half before a pair of Evan Bonnaure three-pointers got them within eight. La Roche stayed within single digits for a majority of the half but Pitt-Bradford's hot shooting guided them to the victory.
Bajgora finished with 20 points and hit 9 of 10 free throws. Bonnaure scored a career-high 16 points including 3 three-pointers while Larry Brodie added 7 points.
The difference in the game was shooting with Pitt-Bradford hitting 24 of 40 shots and La Roche converting just 18 of 51.
The men's basketball team will travel to Franciscan on Wednesday to take on the Barons. Franciscan beat the Redhawks 53-48 on January 19.
