Men's Hoops Defeats Franciscan, Now Tied With Medaille For AMCC Lead

Steubenville, Ohio- The Men's Basketball team is back on track after winning at Franciscan University on Wednesday night. The Redhawks, who have suffered two straight losses, brought back their intensity and topped the Barons 75-54. La Roche is now tied with Medaille for the AMCC Conference lead.

The Redhawks led the Barons by at least ten points in both halves, holding a steady lead throughout the contest. 

Not only did the Redhawks starters contribute in the game, but a strong part was played by those off the bench. Trell Thomas contributed 20 points as the team's top scorer, followed by starter, Evan Bonnaure with 13. 

The Redhawks held an 85.2% free throw percentage and accounted for 40 rebounds throughout the game. Additionally, forty-five of their seventy-five points came from the bench.

The men's team continues their schedule this Saturday, January 28 as they face the Hilbert Hawks. Game time is set for 4:00p.m. Immediately before the game, La Roche will honor their 2017 Hall of Fame induction class.
