Coach Andy Bott is starting his 11^th year with the Men’s Basketball Program.

His coaching career started from 2006-2010 as a student assistant coach with the guidance from Coach Scott Lang. The program compiled a (48-53) record as he learned the dedication and relationship building skills to recruit and coach college basketball.

Coach Bott was then an assistant coach and a part under the direction of Coach Harry Jenkins from 2010-2012. His enthusiasm was instrumental in allowing the Redhawks to have a (44-12) record and win the 2010-2011AMCC Regular and Conference Championship.

This will be Coach Bott’s fifth season working under Coach Hermie Carmichael 2012-present (44-61), and his fourth as Associate Head Coach. His main responsibilities with the team include assisting and planning daily practice, working with post players in practice, film exchange, scouting opponents and recruiting.

A native of Akron, Ohio, Coach Bott has become a mainstay in La Roche Athletics. He assists in the daily operations, facilities, and sports information. He will complete his Masters in Human Resource Management and Leadership this spring.
