Freshman golfer, Shane Eichenlaub, has been named the AMCC Conference Player of the Week for the week of October 3, 2011. This is the second consecutive week that a Redhawk has won Golfer of the Week (Kevin Loutsenhizer).

Eichenlaub helped La Roche win their third consecutive tournament shooting a match-winning one-over par 72 at the La Roche Fall Invitation at Wildwood Golf Club. Eichenlaub has finished in the top five in four of the Redhawk's six matches this season.
