La Roche men's golf carded a 636, as a team, to finish second at the two-day AMCC Conference Championship at Oak Tree Golf Course in West Middlesex, PA. The Redhawks have medaled at the past three conference championships.
La Roche received tremendous contributions from all five golfers including Kevin Loutsenhizer who was the tournament runner-up with an eight-over par 152 (78, 74). Jared Vetica (80, 77) and Nolan Shank (78, 84) both performed well in their first conference championships to finish 5th and tied for 6th respectively. Seniors Jeff Held (83, 82) and Reed Tomlinson (86, 89) had the best conference championships of their careers.
The Redhawks finished runners-up to Penn State Behrend who shot a 616. Medaille followed in third with a 660 and Penn State Altoona shot a 668 for fourth place.
