Golf Places Fourth at Penn State Behrend Invitational

ERIE, PA -- The La Roche men's golf team competed in the Penn State Behrend Invitational on Monday afternoon, their final tune-up before the AMCC Conference Championships. The Redhawks shot a team 326 at the tough Lawrence Park Golf Course to place fourth. Penn State Behrend won the team title and the Lions' Jack Perfett shot a 73 to win the individual medal.

Ben Mullins and Pat McCall each shot 6-over par 78s to tie for ninth place. Mullins has placed in the top 10 in every invitational this season and the ninth place finish ties McCall's best this year.

David Wilson continues to swing the club well. He shot an 82 which tied for sixteenth. Tyler Booher and Tom O'Toole each shot 88s and tied for thirty-second.

Next up for the Redhawks is the AMCC Conference Championship. It is a two day tournament (October 8-9) at Avalon Lakes Golf Club.
