Adrian 24 La Roche 2
La Roche College closed their spring break trip with a 24-2 loss at Adrian College.
Brent Burkhouse led the Redhawks with a goal and an assist, while Devin Wolford also tallied a goal. Shawn McDanel paced the defense with 3 caused turnovers. Goalie Chris Sylvis made 26 saves and picked up 6 ground balls.

North Central 18 La Roche 1
Lacrosse Falls to Undefeated North Central
La Roche men's lacrosse lost to North Central, an undefeated team in Illinois, 18-1.
Shawn McDanel scored La Roche's singular goal off of a ground ball, and also had 7 groundballs. The team overall had 27 ground balls.

Anderson 11 La Roche 10
Anderson squeaked out an 11-10 victory over La Roche on Wednesday evening. The Redhawks led by as many as five goals in the second half, but Anderson came together late and took the lead for good with just over five minutes left in regulation.
La Roche got to work in the second quarter, scoring 5 of the 6 goals in the period to enter halftime with a 7-3 lead. McDanel was involved in the first three tallies, scoring the first while providing helpers on the next two. Anderson got a goal back late in the half, but Nick Sylvis buried a feed from Burkhouse just before the buzzer.
McDanel opened the second half with a score, but the second half belonged to Anderson. Anderson scored five straight to close the third quarter tied at 8-8.
McDanel gave the Redhawks a 10-9 lead with 7:53 left, but Anderson closed with two straight goals and the 11-10 victory.
McDanel led all scorers with 3 goals and 3 assists. He also had a game-high 14 ground balls and was solid in the faceoff circle, winning 14 of 24.
Burkhouse continues to light up the net, registering 2 goals and 3 assists. Nick Sylvis recorded a hat trick, while Wolford beat the goalie twice.
Goalie Chris Sylvis turned aside 15 shots.

La Roche 9 Mt. St. Joseph 5
The La Roche men's lacrosse team used a big second half to pick up a 9-5 victory at Mt. St. Joseph on Monday night. The victory is their second in the past three games.
La Roche registered the first four goals of the second quarter to take a 6-4 lead midway through the second quarter. Burkhouse registered two of the goals, while Wolford and Jake Podsiadly added second quarter goals.
The second half was all Redhawks. The La Roche defense stymied the Mt. St. Joseph offense while the Redhawk attack got to work. Shawn McDanel extended the lead to two goals early in the second half, and Burkhouse and Podsiadly added second half goals.
Burkhouse finished with 4 goals and 2 assists. Podsiadly and Wolford each scored twice, while McDanel had a goal and 10 ground balls.
The Redhawks held the edge in shots, clears, and ground balls.
