WESTMINSTER, PA – The La Roche Lady Redhawks took the road for their last away game before the break and came home with a 66-48 victory over Westminster College. The Lady Redhawks never trailed in the game to earn their seventh win of the season.
Mackenzie O'Donnell finished with a season-best 25 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 5 blocks. O'Donnell's big game jumped her into ninth place in the AMCC in all three categories. Sabrina McLin had 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals while the USBWA National Player of the Week, TiChina Mitchell, scored 15 points.
La Roche held a slim advantage on the boards but they limited Westminster to just 17 of 60 (28%) field goals. Despite the Titan's height advantage, the Lady Redhawks dominated the paint outscoring them inside 38-24.
La Roche will play their second game in as many days when they host Washington & Jefferson tomorrow. They Lady Redhawks fell to the W&J 90-82 earlier this season.
