Today, three Lady Redhawk soccer players were rewarded for their fine play during the 2011 season. Bethanie Moreschi was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Second Team All-Conference and Ralene Zajac and Katherine Golebie received third team all-conference honors.
Moreschi finished the season ranked second in the AMCC in points (31 points) and goals (13 goals), and eighth in assists (5 assists). Moreschi was named first team all-conference as a sophomore and was named to the second team as a freshman.
Zajac, a four-time all-conference performer, finished the year in second in the AMCC in save percentage and finished in the top five in goals against average, saves, and shutouts. Zajac ends her career among the school's leaders in every major goalkeeper statistic.
Katherine Golebie, a preseason player to watch, was named to the all-conference team for the second consecutive season. Golebie anchored a Lady Redhawks' defense that allowed only 1.06 goals per game. Last year, Golebie was awarded first team honors.
