La Roche women's cross country runner, Alecia Kidder, was named the AMCC Conference Runner of the Week for the week of September 10, 2012.

Alecia had a strong week winning the Westmoreland County Community College Invitational in Youngwood, PA on Saturday. She finished with a personal-best time of 22:17 on the wet and muddy 5K course.

Alecia is the first Lady Redhawk to win AMCC Runner of the Week since Erin Madigan won the week of October 27, 2004.
