PITTSBURGH, PA – Freshman forward David Jackson recorded his first career double-double as the Redhawks (24-2, 17-1) beat Hilbert College 86-69 to advance to their second AMCC Conference Tournament Final.

La Roche trailed by 13 points before going on a run over the final 8:17 of the first half. Nate Wojciechowski led the charge with three three-pointers and Laron Mann chipped in six points to end the half tied 40-40.

Mann and Wojo led the Redhawks in the second half with 12 and 10 points apiece. La Roche shot 54% from the field and outrebounded the Hawks 18-7.

Wojciechowski led the Redhawks with 22 points and Mann added 18 points and 5 assists. David Jackson finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds.

La Roche Men's Basketball will play Penn State Behrend (23-3, 16-2) in the AMCC Tournament Finals tomorrow (2/26/11) at 1:00PM at the Kerr Fitness Center. The Lions beat Medaille College (20-7, 15-3) 58-51 in the tournament semifinals.
