The La Roche College men's golf team opened the season tying for fifth place (of sixteen) at the Pitt-Bradford Golf Invitational on Saturday. The Redhawks shot a team total of 319 and finished just two strokes back of third place. Penn State Behrend earned the team win while Behrend's Noah Kunst took the individual trophy.
La Roche put together a consistent outing with just five strokes separating their #1 and #4 spots.
Junior Pat McCall shot a team-best 77 to tie for eighth place. Senior Tyler Booher and junior David Wilson both shot 80s to tie for twenty-fourth place.
Senior Kordell Collins came up big with an 82, allowing the Redhawks to edge two teams that finished just one and two shots back.
Newcomer John Dickson had a strong collegiate debut, carding an 86 and tying for fifty-fifth.
