Men's Soccer Tabbed Sixth In AMCC Preseason Poll

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – La Roche men's soccer was selected sixth in the 2025 AMCC Preseason Poll, released by the conference on Monday.

The Redhawks finished last season with a 2-11-2 overall record and a 2-5-1 mark in AMCC playing, falling just short of a spot in the AMCC Men's Soccer Tournament for the second consecutive season.

La Roche returns a wealth of experience from the 2024 team and will be joined by 10 newcomers to the program, looking to take the team to the next level.

The Redhawks return over half of their offensive production from 2024, as 19 of the 27 goals scored will take the field in 2024, including one of their top goal scorers in now sophomore, Aiden Mukanos-Kramer.

Defensively, La Roche allowed 23 fewer goals in 2024 than the year prior, as 44 crossed this past season. AMCC Player of the Week honoree and Preseason Player to Watch, Maddox Anderson will play between the pipes for the Redhawks, after starting all 16 games last season.

Penn State Behrend earned the top spot in the poll, ahead of Mt. Aloysius and defending co-conference champion, Alfred State in third.

Rounding out the top five are Pitt-Greensburg and Hilbert.

Follow La Roche's sixth place spot and rounding out the order in seventh is Pitt-Bradford, while Penn State Altoona and Carlow round out the poll.

La Roche's regular season kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 4 p.m. as the Redhawks host Washington & Jefferson in what is the first of five home fixtures to begin the season.
