CRESSON, Pa. - La Roche men's cross country ran at the Mountie Invite, hosted by Mt. Aloysius on Saturday. In the end, the Redhawks placed second in the two team event.

Mariory Mondesir paced the red and black, finishing 12th in the 23 runner race, breaking the tape at 24:23.2 and was followed by Jailon Johnson in 13th, whose time was just 0:00.5 behind Mondesir.

Deklyn Simms and Alston Boyle finished in succession placing 15th and 16th with times of 25:01.2 and 25:29.4.

Patrick Chewing (22nd place) and Matthew Mars (23rd place) rounded out the order.

Next time out for the Redhawks is at the Pitt-Greensburg Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5.
