PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference announced the 2026 softball, all-conference selections and La Roche had three members earn distinction.
MAURA WADE
For the second consecutive season, Wade's all-around play earned her First Team All-AMCC laurels.
Wade upped her game even more in 2026, after a First Team selection in 2025, putting together a career season. Wade finished the season 7th in the AMCC in batting average at .432, but would lead the conference in hits with 57, a new LRU single season record.
Her OBP ended at .476 (T-8th AMCC), .571 slugging (11th AMCC) and provided 20 RBI, 15 doubles (T-2nd AMCC), nine stolen bases and struck out just twice in 132 AB's.
In AMCC play, Wade hit .492 (6th AMCC), .523 OBP (T-8th AMCC), .623 slugging (9th AMCC), 30 hits (1st AMCC), 8 doubles (T-2nd AMCC), 14 RBI and five stolen bases.
BROOKE MURGENOVICH
Murgenovich is the second Redhawk to earn consecutive all-conference honors, as the sophomore earned her second straight, Second Team All-AMCC honor.
An All-AMCC selection last season, Murgenovich was even better in 2026. She finished the season hitting .400 overall (one of 13 players in the conference to reach .400), 42 total hits (10th AMCC), 34 runs scored (8th AMCC), drove in 11 runs, drew 10 walks and stole 27 bases (2nd AMCC).
In AMCC play, Murgenovich finished with a .426 average (13th AMCC), 20 hits (T-18th AMCC), five RBI, stole 11 bases (T-3rd AMCC) and scored 19 runs (T-10th AMCC).
Defensively, Murgenovich was a perfect 22-for-22 in chances in conference play and was 43-for-44 (.977 fielding percentage) for the season.
FINLEY HOHN
Earning her first All-AMCC accolade, Hohn was selected to the Third Team and was an RBI machine for La Roche in 2026.
She finished the season hitting .319 overall, 38 total hits, 16 runs scored, drove in 34 runs (3rd AMCC), and drew 16 walks (T-9th AMCC).
In AMCC play, Hohn finished with a .364 average, .426 OBP and .473 slugging %, 20 hits, 18 RBI (6th AMCC), scored eight runs, drew four walks, hit four doubles and struck out once in 55 plate appearances in conference play.
Defensively, Hohn finished with a .991 fielding percentage at first base (107-for-108) in AMCC play (highest amongst players with 100+ total chances) and for the season was 211-for-216 (.977), the 2nd best in AMCC for players with 200+ total chances.
