PITTSBURGH, PA - This morning the AMCC Conference announced this year's bowling all conference teams, and we're excited to say that two Redhawks were honored.
First up was Winter Brown who is a freshman and new to the Redhawk team, but her accomplishments have been plentiful.
In the second AMCC Round Robin Brown finished first of all bowlers on Sunday (out of 57 bowlers) with an average of 189.5 out of eight games. She also bowled her highest game against Medaille with a 243 score.
Winter in her first season as a Redhawk was named to the all conference second team.
The second bowler to receive all conference honors was Ashley Kennedy.
Kennedy has been a consistent bowler this season and a rock for her team. She has had several AMCC third place finishes as an overall bowler in competition. Kennedy cleans up 92% of spare pins that are left, and averages 19 strikes per day.
Both of these bowlers will be back next October so don't be too sad to see the season end. La Roche Athletics is incredibly proud of these young ladies and can't wait to see what they'll accomplish next season.
