PITTSBURGH, Pa. - For the third time this season, Kiki Nemcek has earned AMCC Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday evening.

Not only is it Nemcek's third nod of the year, it's the second consecutive week she has earned the honor.

Nemcek once again was all over the field for the Redhawks in their 2-0 week.

In a victory over Mount Aloysius on Thursday, Nemcek scooped up a game high eight ground balls, caused two turnovers and added a pair of goals.

She followed that performance in Saturday's win over Hilbert, with seven ground balls, four caused turnovers, eight draw controls and four more goals.

For the week, Nemcek had six goals, 15 ground balls, eight draw controls and caused six turnovers.
