Redhawks Unable To Get Past Panthers

BRADFORD, Pa. - A late first half goal and second half insurance goal proved to be enough to take down La Roche on Saturday afternoon, as the Redhawks fell to Pitt-Bradford, 2-0.

It took 42:33 for the first goal to be scored by the Panthers and it ended up being the game-winner, but the score stuck 1-0 at the half.

Bradford's insurance goal would come at 78:34 to make the score the eventual final of 2-0.

La Roche finished the night with eight shots in the game, with Zaida Gonzalez Rosado and Jenna Hotovec leading the way with two each.

Alexandra Mecchia and Brittney Schindler would combine for the two shots on net.

Julianna Hornikel started the game and made three saves of the five she faced.

The Redhawks return to the pitch on Tuesday Oct. 15, when they welcome Carlow. Opening kick is set for 4:15 p.m.
