Q&A

What have you been doing/what will you do to stay in shape and get ready to compete?

"I workout at least 4 times a week while getting some touches on the ball while we aren't in
season yet."

What gives you encouragement and motivation during this time?

"Something that gives me motivation right now is that some people have been using these past
few months as rest and relaxation and allowing themselves to get setback. There is nothing
wrong with that, but I have been working to better myself physically and mentally. The amount
of free time I had was best used for getting outside and being active. This helped pass the
amount of time and kept me happy while in quarantine."

What positives have you taken away from everything that is happening in the world over the last several months?

"I have learned to be grateful for what we are provided with and to stand up for yourself and your
beliefs. I also learned to live in the moment because no one is guaranteed another day."

Favorite memory at La Roche?

"Karaoke at midnight breakfast."

Favorite sports moment?

"Getting the volleyball team hyped up to the campfire song by spongebob before one of our
games."

What has your time at La Roche meant to you?

"I have gotten to meet great people while figuring out what I am meant to do with my life."

Do you have any plans or goals for after graduation?

"Looking to attend a graduate program for Athletic training or exercise physiology."

Who has supported you during your time as a student-athlete?

"My family has supported me since I was younger."
