PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche women's volleyball earned conference recognition on Monday afternoon, as freshman libero, Kaci DePalma, was named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference.

DePalma continued to impress in her freshman campaign, as she helped the Redhawks to a 2-0 record last week.

In Wednesday's victory over Pitt-Greensburg, DePalma collected 29 digs, averaging 5.8 per set, had a .917 reception percentage and added a kill.

She followed that performance in Saturday's, historic, 3-0 victory over Penn State Behrend, contributing another 17 digs, averaging 5.67 per set, helped with five assists and added a service ace.

On the week, she recorded 46 total digs, averaging 5.75 digs per set. For the season, DePalma leads the AMCC in digs per set (5.28) and is third in total digs (354).
