Scott Lang and Harry Jenkins Named Regional Coaches of the Year

The late Coach Scott Lang and Interim Head Coach Harry Jenkins were named D3Hoops.com's Mid-Atlantic Coaches of the Year.

Lang and Jenkins guided the Redhawks to their best season in school history setting records for most wins in a season and longest win-streak. The Redhawks also won their first ever AMCC Conference Regular Season Championship, second AMCC Tournament Championship, and appeared in their first NCAA Tournament.

Lang who passed away on December 10, 2010 led the Redhawks to a 7-1 record. Jenkins an assistant coach under Lang, took over the program and guided it to an 18-2 record.

It is the first time a La Roche head coach has won the award.

It is voted on by sports information directors across the country.
