Jackson Gets Seventh Double-Double in Win Over Penn State Altoona

ALTOONA, PA – David Jackson recorded his seventh double-double of the season as the Redhawks (10-2, 5-0) rolled to an 83-62 win over Penn State Altoona (0-10, 0-4) in AMCC Conference action on Wednesday Night. Jackson currently ranks tenth in the nation in double-doubles.

The Redhawks built a 21 point first half lead by dominating inside. La Roche outscored the Lions 24-10 in the paint and shot 50% from the field. Andre Flanigan finished the first frame with 14 points and Jackson had eight rebounds.

La Roche continued to control the paint in the second half, outscoring Penn State Altoona 18-0. The Redhawks led by as many as 29 points before the Lions made a small run late.

Jackson finished with 11 points and 18 rebounds and Flanigan led the Redhawks with 17 points. Flanigan and Mike Dixon registered 6 assists a piece in the win.

La Roche outscored the Lions 42-10 in the paint and held them to 27% shooting from the field. The Redhawks also outrebounded Penn State Altoona by 18.

The Redhawks will host D'Youville College on Saturday and Medaille College on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 1:00PM
