Four Men's Basketball Players Visit Local School to Speak About the Importance of Education

Last Friday, four La Roche Men's Basketball Players traveled to Arsenal Middle School (Pittsburgh Public School District) to talk with eighth grade students about the importance of education and staying in school. Mike Dixon, Daron Tabron, Oneal Brown, and Joel McIntosh joined assistant baseball coach, Ryan Juran, and the staff at Arsenal who organized the event.

Juran said, "It's nice for the students to see college kids who were once in the same situation, make the right choices to get where they are today. Along with that, the La Roche Players emphasized the importance of getting an education and how it has impacted their lives".

All four La Roche Basketball players had a great time and are looking forward to similar events in the future.
