NORTH EAST, PA – Kevin Loutsenhizer shot a one-under 71 to win the Penn State Behrend Fall Invitational and lead the La Roche golf team to a first place finish at Lake View Country Club on Tuesday. Loutsenhizer was the only participant to shoot under par and the first Redhawk to win a tournament since Mike Sliman won the Mt. Aloysius Invitational last season.
The Redhawks finished ahead of all eight teams in the field including seven from the AMCC Conference. La Roche and Penn State Behrend tied with a team total of 311, but the Redhawks won the team tie-breaker. The tie-breaker comes down to the fifth best score on each team and Jeff Held shot an 85 while the Lions' Dan Corbin shot an 89.
