PITTSBURGH, PA – Shane Eichenlaub shot an even-par 71 to win the 2011 La Roche College Fall Invitational at Wildwood Golf Club and propel the Redhawks to their third consecutive win. Eichenlaub finished three strokes ahead of runner-up and AMCC Player of the Week, Kevin Loutsenhizer, and thirteen strokes under the tournament average (85).
La Roche shot a team total of 315 to finish eleven strokes in front of runner-up Mt. Aloysius College and fourteen ahead of Penn State Altoona. Pitt-Greensburg, Penn State Behrend, Pitt-Bradford, and Medaille College also participated in the Invitational. In five matches this year, La Roche has finished behind an AMCC Conference foe only once.
