La Roche College freshman golfer, Jared Vetica, has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the week of September 4, 2012.

Jared had a terrific collegiate debut winning the Pitt-Bradford Invitational with a 3-over par 75 in the sixty-five man field. He guided La Roche, who finished with 3 golfers in the top 5, to the team championship as well.

Dating back to last season, La Roche has won 3 of the past 4 AMCC Conference Golfers of the Week.
