Lacrosse Wins First Game in School History

PONTIAC, MI – Joseph Griffith scored with seven seconds left in regulation and Jean-Guillaume Thouin scored less than a minute into overtime to give La Roche Men's Lacrosse (1-0) their first win in school history in a 10-9 win over Albion College (0-1).

Matthew Hammil led all scorers with three goals and Thouin and Crawford Healy added two a piece. Eugene LaBorde made eight saves in the win.

The Redhawks outshot Albion 46-34 and only committed 9 turnovers to Albion's 17.

La Roche Men's Lacrosse will return to action tomorrow at 11:45AM in a neutral site game (Pontiac, MI) against Carthage College.
