MOON, PA – La Roche Lacrosse fell to the Robert Morris University Junior Varsity Team 17-7 in an exhibition game at Joe Walton Stadium. Robert Morris is a Division I institution that plays in the Northeastern Conference.
La Roche came out strong taking a 4-3 advantage before the Colonials answered early in the second period.
Dustin Reykdal finished with three goals and Jean-Guillaume Thouin added two goals. Bryce Wells and Kiel Morris each registered a goal apiece.
The Redhawks recorded a season-high 74 ground balls including nine each by Mitchell Banister and Matthew Hammill. La Roche also converted 25 of 32 clear attempts.
La Roche Lacrosse will travel to Hilbert College on Saturday, March 26 at 2:00PM before returning home to play Neumann University on Saturday, April 2 at 2:00PM.
