Sean Doyle Named Interim Head Coach for Lacrosse

La Roche College Athletic Director, Jim Tinkey, has announced the hiring of Sean Doyle as Interim Head Coach for Lacrosse. Last season, Doyle served as the Redhawks' Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator and was instrumental in guiding La Roche to a 9-4 record. Doyle also got drafted to play professionally for the Ohio Machine of the MLL (Major League Lacrosse).

Doyle came to La Roche after playing two seasons at Bellarmine University (Louisville, KY). While at Bellarmine, Doyle earned ECAC Player of the Week honors and was selected as an All-ECAC Second Team performer. He led Bellarmine in points and goals both seasons, and scored 84 career points (64 goals, 16 assists) in just 29 games.

Prior to Bellarmine, Doyle played two seasons at Herkimer Community College and was named to the All-America Second Team his sophomore season. He was also voted to the All-Tournament Team.
