GRANTHAM, PA – Crawford Healy netted his second hat trick of the season in La Roche Men's Lacrosse's (0-2) 21-6 loss to Messiah College (1-1) in a wet and foggy game in Central Pennsylvania.
Healy finished with 3 goals on 9 shots and Jean-Guillaume Thouin added 2 goals and an assist. Mike DiMarco scored his first career goal in the loss. TJ Leo, Brad Nylen, and Bryce Wells each recorded a game-high 5 ground balls for the Redhawks. Wells also made 5 stops in his first collegiate start in net.
Despite the loss, La Roche recorded 30 ground balls and converted on more than half of their clears.
Redhawks' Lacrosse returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Elmira College to take on the Soaring Eagles. Face-off is set for 2:30PM.
