Kenski's Four Goals Lead La Roche in 14-5 Victory over Bethany

PITTSBURGH, PA – Mike Kenski scored a game-high four goals and Steve Murphy added his first career hat trick as La Roche Men's Lacrosse (2-5) cruised to a 14-5 win over Bethany College (0-3) in Wednesday Night action at the La Roche Lacrosse Field.

Kenski added an assist in addition to his four goals and Jean-Guillaume Thouin tallied his fifth and sixth goals of the season. Bryce Wells finished with a goal and an assist and Blaine Shaffner recorded his first career goal. Jon Monahan and Dustin Reykdal added goals for La Roche.

TJ Leo led the Redhawks on defense with 5 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers and Crawford Healy and Jamal Blackwell added 5 and 4 ground balls apiece. Eugene LaBorde made 10 saves in the win.

The Redhawks registered their second highest shot total of the season with 42 shots and they converted on all 18 clear attempt. La Roche also recorded 44 groundballs and went 1 for 3 with a man-up.

La Roche Lacrosse returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Lebanon Valley College. The Redhawks have never played Lebanon Valley.
