Men's Lacrosse Sets Goal Record in 26-6 Win Over Franciscan

STEUBENVILLE, OH -- La Roche College Lacrosse (1-4) set a program-record with 26 goals in a 26-6 win over Franciscan University (1-5) on Saturday.

Dustin Reykdal paced the Redhawks with 5 goals and 7 assists and registered a career-high 12 points. Crawford Healey finished with 5 goals and 2 assists and Bryce Wells added 4 goals and an assist. Jean Thouin netted his second hat trick of the season with 3 goals and 2 assists and Mike DiMarco recorded his first career hat trick. Jon Monahan scored twice and Sean Clark chipped in a goal and an assist. Garrett Fraser and Steve Murphy finished with a goal apiece.

Thouin led the Redhawks on defense with 17 ground balls and Nate Marsh and Braden Sparks retrieved 5 ground balls each. 

La Roche took a season-high 56 shots and picked up 38 ground balls. They also converted 15 of 16 clears and went 3 for 4 on man-up situations.
