The La Roche Men's Soccer team will be taking their first ever international tour this May. The team will visit England, Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium on a 12-day tour from May 12-22, 2011.
The team will fly to England where they will watch an English Premier League match. They will play their first contest against international competition and train in England. The team will also visit Cambridge, hometown of coach David Day, before flying to Cologne, Germany for the second leg of the trip.
La Roche will be staying in Valkenburg, Netherlands where they will be trained by coaches from the KNVB - Dutch National Soccer Association. They will play two more games during their tour and take in the cities of Maastricht, Aachen, and Cologne.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to take the team to Europe. The lads will be able to train and compete against top level international competition. They are excited to be able to watch some live games and experience European culture."
