WAYNESBURG, PA – Bryan Weimerskirch scored with two seconds left in the second overtime as the Redhawks (3-0) downed Waynesburg (1-2) 3-2 in non-conference game at John F. Wiley Stadium.

Weimerskirch got La Roche on the board early and AMCC Offensive Player of the Week, Yousef Barqawi, scored to take a 2-0 lead but the Yellow Jackets registered two late goals to force overtime. As the overtime period ensued and the teams fought for possession, play became chippy. However the Redhawks dominated possession and outshot Waynesburg 4-1 before Weimerskirch's heroics won it.

Weimerskirch led the Redhawks with two goals and Yousef Barqawi added his conference leading fourth goal of the season. Goalkeeper, Michael Brunozzi, made eight saves in 119:58 minutes to register the win. Adam Minnaugh and Ryan Luffey each recorded an assist.

La Roche Men's Soccer will travel to Washington & Jefferson on Saturday, September 10 at 4:00PM. Last season the Redhawks lost to the Presidents 2-0 at the La Roche Soccer Field.
