La Roche women's cross country finished in sixteenth place at Saturday's Penn State Behrend Cross Country Invitational in Erie, Pennsylvania. Alecia Kidder paced the Lady Redhawks with a 41^st place finish and a time of 22:51 in the 5K. Kayla Bartok followed with a fast 24:13 and placed 71st overall and Irene Tamajong and Rebecca Burkhart pushed each other to 29:39 and 29:55 finishes respectively. Kaitlyn Meyer and Brittany Povloski ran very solid races to finish at 31:05 and 39:57.

Jeffrey Turner and Joseph Kurcina led the La Roche men's cross country team to a fifteenth place finish at the Penn State Behrend Cross Country Invitational. Turner finished 59^th overall with a time of 30:51 and Kurcina followed three places later with a 31:13. Robert Patterson, Matthew Johnson, and Brandon Schrecengost all ran very strong races for the Redhawks finishing with times of 38:22, 40:11, and 40:58.

La Roche cross country has this weekend off before traveling to Mt. Aloysius College on Saturday, September 30.
