Coach Gentile Reaches Landmark 300th Win

Longtime La Roche College Head Softball Coach, Orie Gentile, reached another milestone in his illustrious career. Gentile and the Lady Redhawks' 6-4 victory over Ursuline College on April 20, 2012 brought his career win total to 300.

Gentile has been the head coach of La Roche since 1997 and has led the Lady Redhawks to three AMCC Conference Champions (2000, 2001, 2002) and an AMCC Conference Regular Season Title in 2007.

Gentile boasts a career .602 winning percentage including a school-record .871 winning percentage in 2000. He also guided the Lady Redhawks to a school-record 29 wins in 2007.
