Lady Redhawks Clinch Spot in First AMCC Tournament Championship

PITTSBURGH, PA – Freshman forward, Jessica Pitts, recorded her tenth double-double of the season as the Lady Redhawks (22-4, 16-2) beat Pitt-Bradford (15-10, 12-6) 62-51 to earn a spot in their first-ever AMCC Championship game.

Pitts finished with 20 points on 9 of 15 shooting and added 12 rebounds and 4 steals. Chantelle Jennings recorded 16 points and Ariel Jennings added 14 points and 5 rebounds.

The Lady Redhawks scored a season-high 38 points in the paint. La Roche also converted 16 points off of turnovers to Pitt-Bradford's two.

The Lady Redhawks will face the winner of the Medaille vs. Penn State Behrend winner tomorrow (2/26/2011) at 3:00PM at the Kerr Fitness Center.
