GREENVILLE, pa -- Sophomore forward Bethanie Moreschi scored two goals as the La Roche College Women's Soccer Team (2-3) defeated Thiel College (1-4) 2-1 in a non-conference game at Alumni Stadium. Moreschi, who was named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week, converted on two penalty kicks to take a 2-0 lead early in the second half. Thiel scored a late goal to cut the lead to one, but the Lady Redhawks hung on for their second consecutive victory. La Roche Women's Tennis will travel to St. Vincent College on Friday, September 17 at 5:00PM to take on the Bearcats.
