La Roche Women's Soccer Team (11-9-1) lost to conference rival Penn State Altoona (18-4-1) 3-1 in the first round of the ECAC Tournament. The ECAC (Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference) is an invitation-only tournament which consists of three, eight team brackets of Division III programs in the Northeast and surrounding areas. Despite the loss, freshman Bethanie Moreschi (Pittsburgh, PA/North Hills HS) scored her team-leading sixteenth goal of the season. Freshman Kayla Coyne (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley HS) added an assist in the loss for the Lady Redhawks.
