ZAJAC GETS SHUTOUT IN 1-0 WIN

PITTSBURGH, pa -- La Roche Women's Soccer (9-6-1, 5-2) beat visiting Pitt-Greensburg (3-12-1, 1-5-1) 1-0 in an AMCC Conference game at Redhawks' Field.

Sophomore forward and LaRocheSports.com's "Featured Athlete" for this week, Bethanie Moreschi, scored in the 65th minute to give the Lady Redhawks the win. It was Moreschi's AMCC leading 20th goal of the season. Sophomore midfielder Marina Mattone recorded an assist on the goal.

Junior goalkeeper Raelene Zajac made nine saves for her four shutout of the season.

La Roche Women's Soccer will host Medaille on Saturday, October 23 at 1:00PM.
