PITTSBURGH, PA – AMCC Preseason Player of the Year, Bethanie Moreschi, recorded a season-high four goals as La Roche women's soccer (3-3-3, 1-1) downed Mt. Aloysius College (0-9, 0-2) 7-0 in an AMCC Conference game on Thursday.

Shelby Novak gave the Lady Redhawks a 1-0 lead less than two minutes into the contest when she buried a corner kick from Nicole Ferraco. Moreschi added the next four goals before Novak netted here second of the game.

Moreschi finished with four goals and two assists and Novak scored twice. Nicole Ferraco recorded three assists and Chantal Brannon registered her first career goal.

Ralene Zajac recorded six saves for her third shutout of the season. Katherine Golebie, Sarah Stierer, and Morgan Whitney added to the shutout by playing quality defense in front of her.

La Roche women's soccer will return to action on Saturday when they travel to conference foe D'Youville. Last season La Roche upended the Spartans 3-1 at the La Roche Soccer Field.
