PITTSBURGH, PA – La Roche women's soccer (4-4-3, 2-2) fell to fifth-place in the AMCC Conference standings with a 3-0 loss to Franciscan University (6-4, 2-1) at the La Roche Soccer Field.

Despite the loss, ECAC Offensive Player of the Week, Bethanie Moreschi, recorded three shots and Alexandra Rogers and Lindsey McKay added two apiece.

The Lady Redhawks were outshot 16-8 including a 7-3 advantage for Franciscan in shots on goals. The Barons attempted two more corner kicks than La Roche.

Franciscan's Julia Cocozza scored twice and Jackie Lon added two assists.

La Roche women's soccer will host AMCC Conference rival Pitt-Bradford on Saturday. Last season, Bethanie Moreschi scored a goal in a 2-1 loss to the Panthers.
